Company visit Zorgservice XL and certification ceremony

Organized by Visie Partners and Zorgservice XL

Add to calendar:

Zorgservice XL is a non-profit organization, founded by three hospitals, that provides purchasing and logistics services. During our visit, we will get a tour through the Distribution Center and other departments to follow the flow of goods and information. We will have a look at the Goods Receiving Department, Order Picking, and Expedition, gaining an understanding of the logistics flow from inbound to outbound. Anton Zandbergen is Supply Chain Team Leader at Zorgservice XL. He will explain how the Operations Department is structured and how it collaborates with other departments within the organization, as well as with the hospitals.

The program of this event focuses on applying APICS concepts in environments that are not typical manufacturing environments. Pieter Buwalda, Manager of Capacity Planning and Healthcare Logistics at Treant Group, will demonstrate how the Manufacturing Planning and Control framework is applied in hospital environments.

We will also celebrate the great achievement of our students who have passed their APICS or Demand Driven exam.
